Our story
Roots in the Rif
It all begins with our founder, originally from the Rif, in northern Morocco. It's there, alongside the women of her family, that she first put her hands to textile work: learning to cut, to assemble, to embroider — giving fabric the shape of a garment that means something.
From this Moroccan childhood comes a simple conviction: the craftsmanship of her country deserves to be seen, worn and celebrated beyond its borders. A conviction she refines for almost twenty years, before giving it a name, in 2026: Caftan Paris.

The Rif, where it starts
Fabric as a first language: gestures passed down within the family, learned long before there were words to explain them.

Choosing the artisans, laying the sfifa, the precision of the embroidery: almost twenty years learning a Moroccan craftsmanship we want to showcase, never simply use.
Paris, the design studio
This is where the silhouettes are born: a French standard of rigour applied to every cut, every drape, every finish.

Caftan Paris is born from this meeting of two shores, carried by almost twenty years of experience in Moroccan textile craft. From its very first piece, the maison tells that story: Moroccan in spirit, French in standard.

Our commitment

We work directly with the Moroccan artisans who make our pieces: workshops we know personally, fair working conditions, a relationship of trust rather than plain subcontracting.
We work with cooperatives and workshops led by women artisans, and we make sure this craftsmanship is passed on to new generations, rather than fading away.
